We had the pleasure of hosting Dance Society at one of our Chicks at the Flicks events, and they truly made the evening unforgettable! The ladies were absolutely thrilled with the surprise flash mob. The energy, talent, and passion that Dance Society brought to the event were simply outstanding.

We hired Christie-Lee for our Wedding dance, she was amazing at teaching us simple but beautiful steps and turns and helped us not to look awkward on our wedding day haha. Our goal was to feel comfortable in our dance while not making it too choreographed! And she totally nailed it and understood what we were after. Over the last 5 years I have attended weekly classes, countless Sip & Dance events, and all 3 retreats! Not only is Christie-lee an incredible dancer and teacher, she’s an incredible person, making every single person who walks through any of her doors, regardless of experience or skill level, feel safe, supported and ready to have a fantastic time! I went through countless dance schools trying to reignite my love for dance and I truly cannot recommend Christie-lee’s Dance Society any higher!

Christie is a lovely person and a fantastic teacher who makes learning routines easy. I am somebody who is not the best dancer and struggles with coordination but I find her routines and way of teaching easy to follow. Her Sip and Dance events are amazing, affordable, very welcoming and have helped me to get out of my comfort zone a bit and make new friends. I have been to probably 4-5 classes now and am going to even more coming up soon which I am so excited for. I would definitely recommend checking out Christie's Sip and Dance events or weekly classes you will not regret it!!

I started dancing at Christie-lee's weekly burlesque classes a few months ago and I absolutely love it! Christie teaches the classes really well and makes it easy for everyone to understand and is always more than happy to repeat or give further explanation or guidance with any parts of the routine required. The girls at the classes are all very welcoming and the class has a great atmosphere, leaving me feeling good about myself and looking forward to getting back the following week :) I have also done a Bring It On and a Grease workshop at Helensvale Community Centre with Christie-Lee teaching and these were both very fun and enjoyable for everyone involved :) Highly recommended! :):)

Dance Society by Christie-lee has over delivered in all areas, 7 bedroom house with panoramic view of Gold Coast skyline, delicious food prepared by a on demand chef, fun activities that adds to your skill set and the balance of having "own time" to truly relax and appreciate all the hard work you've done or opt for a massage. Did an R&B dance night for a friends birthday and had such a fun time! Haven’t danced like that in… ever? Was great to get out of the comfort zone and just muck around with no pressure to get it right. Would absolutely go again! Christie-Lee is also such a vibe and an inspiration.

It is evident she understands how to explain and break down steps simply/slowly and works with the power of repeitition to support her attendees. It is fun & exciting, exploring different themes every month, a beautiful way to connect into our pure joy and sensuality, in this technological age, many of us forget how to have fun in real life and Christie helps us remember.
I also attended Dance Retreat 2023 which was absolutely phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed the diverse range of dance and personal development workshops. The in-house chef and food was the best and the venue was gorgeous

We learned two very fun dance routines based of the hit musical GREASE !!!! Soo much fun! We loved the moves and the atmosphere! There were fun warm-up games in-between to loosen up and get to know each other as well as a beautifully and individually arranged dinner box for everyone, totally recommend it! There are all kinds of different sip and dance themes! Love to be part of more! Thank you so much, Christie-Lee, for this special experience!
